This is absolutely delicious pizza with high quality toppings. We had a delivery and it was on time and the pizzas were hot. Artichokes, green olives, red onions and shitake mushrooms is my favorite, but we got 5 different varieties of Baiano pizzas for our party and they were all consumed...kind of sad that I didn't have any leftovers !

Long overdue for an update! My boyfriend is a BIG Baiano fan, dating back to his days long ago at SFSU. When we started dating over a year ago and I mentioned where I lived, his first question was "have you had Baiano?!?!??" I told him my experience and he was surprised. He raved and raved about their white pizza with honey, sausage, and serranos. Call me a crazy white girl, but that is not a flavor combo I would ever go for. Nevertheless, when we were next craving pizza, we made our way to Baiano for said pizza. We ordered our whole pie at the counter and decided to also grab a bottle of wine to enjoy with the piping hot pizza in the restaurant. There was ample seating which we were welcome to choose while the owner helped us with uncorking and pouring the wine. My boyfriend and the owner reminisced about Baiano's other, now closed, location on 9th in the Inner Sunset. Suffice to say, service was impeccable and ambiance was casual, yet cutesy. Now, I can see why my boyfriend loves this pizza. It's creamy with some kick. Boyfriend LOVES spicy food and serranos are mild for him (LOL, I do not know what that life is like). I was happy the serranos were balanced with a white sauce base, as my taste buds would have otherwise been on FIYAH (another LOL). I have strong preference for Neopolitan style pizza vs this type of crust. Comparing my first experience at Baiano (last minute pizza by the slice right before closing) vs first time with boyfriend + many visits since... I now understand that a fresh pie is the way to go OR stopping for a slice during the lunch hour (for lunch specials!) as the slices move quickly and are therefore much fresher.

We only tried their honey pizza and got delivered through doordash, but they were so good! They were light, perfectly savory and sweet.

Best pizza I've ever had and definitely the best in the city ! Go for The mushroom and olive

The margarita pizza I had here was great! The crust was a little stiff but it still tasted great . I highly recommend coming to this place. The service was friendly and the ambiance of this place was pretty nice for a pizza place. . I give them 4 stars. I may come back here again someday!

Finally tried this pizza joint after living in the area for a couple of years. And I am so happy I finally did! I just wanted a snack so I got a slice of the combo. This may be one of my top pizza places in SF. It's very similar to NY style pizza. The dough is chewy and the slice has the right amount of sauce and toppings. I love the mozzarella they use, it's delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more things! Btw they have a happy hour deal: unlimited slices for $20

I work around the corner from this pizza joint. I was getting kind of annoyed at spots near Hayes Valley charging $14 for a small chicken sandwhich or something without a drink or fries or anything. So I wandered around and stumbled upon Baiano and a flyer outside for a $12 lunch special - Sandwhich, drink, fries. I'm sold. What I got was an absolutely panini. I was quite shocked at the quality and what I received. I was expecting a lame sub-roll and some Americans cold cuts-- I got a gourmet panini with roasted garlic, olives, arugula, cured meat, topped with cilantro, and parmiggiano. What a steal! The owner works at the register which is nice to see. The employees behind the counter are polite and are quite good at what they do. The ambiance is soothing and quite a relaxing little nook for a quick bite. Will be back (over and over)
